From 24 to 27 September the TRAKO took place in Gdańsk, Poland. This biennial prestigious railway trade fair is one of the largest fairs in this sector from Central and Eastern Europe. At TRAKO the visitors and exhibitors obtained a good insight into the latest technology of traffic systems and railway infrastructure in Poland, Europe and around the world. Overall, this year the organisers welcomed more than 16,000 visitors and around 600 exhibitors from 25 countries.
From 15 to 17 May 2019 Europe's largest and most international trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems, the electrical energy storage (ees), took place in Munich, Germany. The 3-day trade fair is one of 4 parallel exhibitions of “The smarter E Europe”: The Intersolar Europe, EM-Power Europe, and Power2Drive Europe. Furthermore, the exhibition is the industry hotspot for grid infrastructure and the integration of renewable energy solutions. This year 1,450 exhibitors were represented on a total exhibition area of 110,000 m² and more than 50,000 visitors travelled to The Smarter E Europe.
This year from 26 to 27 March the 22nd edition of the Africa Solar Show took place in Sandton, Johannesburg. The Solar Show is Africa’s largest exhibition and conference with the focus on power, electricity, solar and renewable energy. The Africa Solar Show 2019 presented over 8000 attendees, hosted 300 major exhibitors and solar solution providers, from more than 40 African countries, in 4 halls on thousands of square metres.
From 14 to 17 January 2019 the World Energy Future Summit (WFES) took place within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The WFES hosted over 850 exhibiting companies from 40 countries. Over the years the WFES became the largest and most influential event in the area of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the Middle East. Participations were represented in all its scope by science, industry, economy and policy. The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is also considered as a driving force for new energy concepts in the environmental technology sector in the Middle East region.
On Wednesday, 21 November 2018, BAE Batterien GmbH had the pleasure to host a delegation of the ministry of electricity and renewable energy of Bolivia. Among the attendees were the vice minister of electricity and renewable energy, the general director of alternative energy company executives directors and as well the department heads and engineers who are involved in renewable energy development projects, both in public and private sectors of Bolivia.
