On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Peter-Behrens-Building a street festival took place along the Wilhelminenhofstraße based on the motto of electro mobility called „Pit Stop“. In the past the Peter-Behrens-Building was a “state-of-the-art” car manufacturing plant, of the Nationale Automobilgesellschaft“ (NAG), a subsidiary company of the former AEG. In this building the first electrical cars and electrical trucks were built in the beginning of the last century. Nowaday the Peter-Behrens-Building is protected as a historic monument and counts to one of the most important monuments of Berlin’s industry architecture.
In conjunction with Bali Clean Energy Forum 2017, the 6th IndoEBTKE ConEx 2017 was held from 13 to 15 September 2017 at Balai Kartini, Jakarta (Indonesia). With this year theme, “Renewable Energy is a Solution for Energy Security and Paris Agreement”, the event presented topics, issues, products, business opportunities in Indonesia. It also showed a brand new resources scoop in renewable energy and energy conservation.
A business delegation of seven German companies and representatives of the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG and the German Wind Energy Association (Bundesverband Windenergie e.V.) visited Bolivia from September 11th to 15th, 2017. The delegation comprised of enterprises from the renewable energy industry sector covering a range of premium quality products, technologies and services for decentralized energy supply in remote areas by means of wind and solar energies.
From the 31st of May to the 2nd of June 2017 the 26th Intersolar, the world's leading exhibition for the solar industry and the electrical energy storage (ees), took place in Munich. The ees is the largest and best-visited exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems. Both leading exhibitions were again a point of attraction for the international industry get-together, represented by 51 countries with 1.100 exhibitors and about 40.000 visitors.
The International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition (SNEC PV POWER EXPO) was held in Shanghai, China, on April 19th to 21st 2017. The exhibition in the last years has evolved from 15,000sqm in 2007 to over 180,000sqm in 2017, with more than 1800 exhibitors. Herewith the SNEC has become one of the biggest international PV tradeshows in Asia and even in the world.
