Within the scope of the Initiative “renewables – Made in Germany”, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry conducted together a fact-finding-mission for photovoltaic by Bolivian energy experts from November 25th to 29th 2013. A group of twenty three (23) Bolivian energy experts from the private and public sector gained most recent information’s of German PV technology and improved contacts with the aim of expanding business relations between Germany and Bolivia.
In close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan was on the building of the Ministry by using German technology a solar system built to demonstrate the acquisition and storage of electricity from solar energy and on 13 September 2013 officially committed.
The solar system was created by the German consortium BAE Batteries GmbH and DPU Investment GmbH in cooperation with AEG Power Solutions, Enerparc and Roth & Rau, accompanied by information and training.
To deepen the german-russian economic relations regarding the development of the renewable energy in Russia, the Free State of Bavaria and the Krasnodar Krai presented together in Munich on June 24th 2013 the economic and investment potential of the Krasnodar Krai and their strategy about the usage and expansion of renewable energy in Russia. The presentation was supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic, the Association of Bavarian Economic e.V. and the administration of the Krasnodar Krai.
Initiated by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) in cooperation with RENAC (Renewables Academy) a nationwide delegation‘s trip to Germany comprising of top-ranking representatives of the Indonesian network operator PLN (Persero Listrik Negara) was conducted from May 27th to 30th. Further to various interesting visits to companies like SMA or WIRSOL the tour also included a stopover at BAE Batterien GmbH to visit its production facilities. During a factory tour the guests got first hand impressions on the manufacturing of our “Made in Germany” quality branded products.
BAE Batterien GmbH participated in the SMA Training Seminar “Off-grid, Intelligent PV Mini-grids based on 100 % solar power for rural electrification in Mexico”, organized in Mexico City on the 28th and 29th May 2013. This Seminar intended to contribute to the further implementation of high-quality and innovative technological solutions in more than 50 thousand communities dispersed in remote areas in Mexico.
