From the 5th to 7th of May 2014 the 18th Battcon International Stationary Battery Conference took place at the Boca Raton Resort in Boca Raton, Florida. Besides the trade fair show which opens in the early evening there are panels and conferences during the three days to attend. Furthermore it is possible enjoy golf and network by participating in the annual Golf Tournament. For these reasons the Battcon is an important meeting point in the battery business, to learn and exchange together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Santiago de Chile, April 30th, 2014 – From April 21st to April 25th the 13rd EXPOMIN Congress, the World Mining Exhibition and Congress for Latin America, was held in Santiago de Chile.

BAE exposed its industrial batteries at the KOLFF booth, a BAE distributor in Chile.

The commissioning of an important CSR-project in South Africa, where BAE participated, was finalized and put into operation on March the 19th of 2014 under the leadership of the Germany-based association of „Rays of Hope“. This social project includes in the first phase a 20kWp photovoltaic application for a joint dairy located in the Camphill Village in the Western Cape region. In the second phase an expansion by 40kWp is planned.

Based on the continuous growth of its activities in the Asia-Pacific Region BAE has opened its first Regional Office in Kuala Lumpur. The new regional office is located very strategically in the promising Asean Region and will be headed by our marketing director Chin Haur Lieh. Chin Haur Lieh worked from 2007 until 2014 as a general manager for UTS Technology Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia where he got very familiar with the BAE products since a long time.

Bolivian delegation pay visit to BAE

Within the scope of the Initiative “renewables – Made in Germany”, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry conducted together a fact-finding-mission for photovoltaic by Bolivian energy experts from November 25th to 29th 2013.  A group of twenty three (23) Bolivian energy experts from the private and public sector gained most recent information’s of German PV technology and improved contacts with the aim of expanding business relations between Germany and Bolivia.
