From the 16th to 19th of January 2017 the World Energy Future Summit (WFES) took place within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and in addition celebrated its 10th anniversary. Over the years the WFES became the largest and most influential event in the area of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the Middle East. Participations were represented in all its scope by science, industry, economy and policy. The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is also considered as a driving force for new energy concepts in the environmental technology sector in the Middle East region.
BAE was again an integral part of the German pavilion where the high quality premium products from the series BAE Secura Solar batteries were exhibited, special interest has been given to the VRLA-GEL model. Again the “made in Germany” quality was confirmed in the discussions with the long-lasting partners and as well as by potential customers which additionally were impressed by the high-end references of BAE.
BAE had the great honour to welcome the Her Royal Highness RH Princess Sana Asem of Jordan and also Mr. Mohammed Al Taani, General Manager and Co-Founder of the organization AREC (ARAB RENEWABLE ENERGY COMMISSION – AREC). Her Royal Highness Princess Sana Asem is also a member of AREC and BAE discussed with her possibilities regarding sustainable solutions using solar storage for low-income households in Jordan. In May this year, BAE Sales Manager Nader Mansour will present in a speaker slot our technology at the 3rd Arab renewable energy conference in Amman organized from AREC and will be chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Asem bin Nayef.
